Take a moment to assist teens in understanding leadership roles and responsibilities.

"If they don't know the purpose of something, they just might misuse it." 

 

Keep the information in front of them in offices, hallways, the cafeteria, etc.  

 

When you least expect it, they'll understand with the constant reminders that leadership's there to "get me to the finish line."
